Kernel Booster is the simplest application for kernel controlling. You can set a governor and then tune it for increasing battery life or performance. Kernel Booster also allows you to choose your scheduler according to battery life, multitasking or performance and other customizations to your kernel like frequencies settings, CPU idle mode, etc.
