What if a developer were to figure out how to tap into the MST service the same way that NFC read/write apps can tap into the NFC service, and what if you could use that to emulate any card? That way you wouldn't have to wait for Samsung Pay to be supported by a given bank. Instead, you could just fire up your OpenPay app, hold the phone near the card and use the MST chip to read the magnetics of the card, and then store that in the phone?
I'm assuming (one of) the reason(s) why this isn't a thing is because no one has the drivers and source code that allows MST technology to work? What other barriers are there to this idea?
