The Xperia M4 Aqua is waterproof and protected against dust, so dont worry if you get caught in the rain or want to wash off dirt under a tap, but remember: all ports and attached covers should be firmly closed. You should not: put the device completely underwater; or expose it to seawater, salt water, chlorinated water or liquids such as drinks. Abuse and improper use of device will invalidate warranty. The device has Ingress Protection rating IP65/68. For more info seewww.sonymobile.com/waterproof. Note the Xperia has a capless USB port to connect and charge. The USB port needs to be completely dry before charging |
Before changint terms, on M4 Aqua was when phone go exposed to chlorinated water, drinks or other liquids, we must expose/clean it to/with normal water.
It mean i cant now expose phone under water and maybe take photos with it? (When i do it and phone stop work -> lost warranty)
It mean Sony phones are waterproof only when spill phone..
(Cant put underwater..)
But.. When i dont break the phone (as it will not waterproof), it can be waterproof to 4ever?
At the end, IP68 mean unlimited time under water,no? It break phone when it will 30,5minutes and 1.55m underwater?(ex.)
I think, some shops does not recognize warranty and ex. the phone was underwater 0.5meters and 5minutes and stopped working..
And its any way spontaneously open the caps? I have bad dreams about it..:D
