[Q] Replaced cracked LCD w OEM font assembly touch does not work

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 ATT i337 with a cracked LCD. I first tried replacing the LCD with a new LCD/touch digitizer, the screen would work but the screen would not register touch. I returned it. I have also tried two OEM front assemblies which presented the same issue, screen works but touch does not. So the screen, and the capacitive buttons work, but the screen touch does not . I have performed a factory reset to no avail. Any ideas, suggestions?
