Root & install cloudyg3 on LG g3 d855 variant runs on lollipop

Im using LG G3 D855 international variant and decided to root it. With the help of a thread in xda i was able to do it. (When i use stump, it didn't work. Threw an error saying device is patched)

Then i had to set a recovery method, so downloaded the exact matching image file and tried using flashify. It was success but when it rebooted it was just blackscreen with red and blue led light. Then i removed the battery and made it to download mode then again inserted the battery and restarted it worked.

Question :
* I want to know whether my recovery process was success.
* I want to install custom rom - cloudyg3 in my device

Please help me to do above two tasks.
