Hi guys,
(I tried searching this and so far no answers)
I want to buy an unlocked Zenfone 2 ZE551ML.
In the US, the price is nice at 9 (for the 64GB). In Japan it's over 0 (OK, with the exchange rate it's a little less, but...).
(Sorry, the site is preventing me from including external links)

The problem I am having is finding out if it's truly compatible with Japanese and US carriers. I would like to take this thing back and forth.
The frequencies look right, but on all the AusTek documentation is says (JP Version) near the 4G FDD-LTE frequencies. Do the major carriers in Japan use some variant of FDD-LTE that is different from the US? Or is this only a marketing strategy?
The only difference I have seen in the past on Japanese phones is that here they always come with a TV Antennae built in for Digital Japanese TV and the freakin' Carrier charges a monthly fee for the TV app! Haha
Here's the information from Asus Japan (open it in Chrome and it will translate the Japanese for you, albeit badly):

Decent worldwide Frequency list:

Anyone try this out between the US and Japan?
Thanks in advance.
