ZUK Z1 Overview

When you use an android device, you’re probably saddled with a skin like touchwiz that slows down your device. Cyanogenmod, A third party rom maker that makes a clean and really customizable version of android, has teamed up with several companies to build the software in, and this is the newest entry in Cyanogenmod’s partnership, the Lenovo ZUK Z1.

What is it?

The Lenovo Zuk Z1 is yet another great budget Lenovo phone, and while the spec sheet may remind you a lot of the original OPO, this phone has certain features that really stand out and make it a better choice than the OPO. First off is a massive 4100mAh battery: everyone’s been saying to make larger phones with better batteries, and this one does it. in C4ETech’s review of it, he got insane battery life, with over 5 hours of screen on time and 2 days of battery life... those numbers just makes me jealous. It also includes the new Type C connector that is reversible, and dual sim, so very well rounded.

The real star here is the software: Cyanogenmod makes a more customizable, (hopefully)frequently updated, and faster version of android than most and this phone is one that is completely built in and supported, unlike if you install CM on other devices.
