[Q] Which is the best Kernel+ROM for just using navigation?

I want to use my old S2 for the car as a navigation only. Either Google Maps with data or Osmand without data. Which is the slimmest and best possibility (Kernel+Rom) for our phone? It should last long and be as clean as possible. Currently i am running cm from lysergic acid.
