RootXperia Toolkit 2015/09/26 (Or how to Root 4.4.4 without downgrading)

Hey guys!

First, before ANYONE says it, NO, this is NOT my work, it's made by CubeundCube, a (great) Japanese developer, that made this new version of rootXperia to exploit the famous CVE-2015-3636 (a.k.a. PingPong), so, go thank him in Twitter!
Unfortunately for us, this vulnerability is not present anymore in the kernel (as a great man said, Sony is not dumb :p), but in case anyone wants to root his/her device under 4.4.4, this is your option if you don't want to downgrade your kernel to 4.3 as Miche1asso tutorial, or root using Kingroot, which provides lot's of headaches (trust me...) and some people report that it sends info to a chinese server (who knows, maybe your IMEI info...!). At least this tool is much safer. :)

Where to download / What do we need?

Go to this link and download the zip file.
PLUS: You'll also need an adb pack, so you can use mine; and a ric disabler tool. You can use this modified EasyRootTool. Original one was made by zxz0O0, so thank him too.

How to use?
  • Unpack the zip to a folder in your desktop. Then open my ADB Pack 'Herramientas-de-flasheo.zip' and unpack the files inside the exact same folder you unpack the rootXperia toolkit zip. To check if you've done it correctly, take into account that the adb.exe and install.bat should be in the same folder.

  • Now, connect your phone with USB Debugging enabled. [To enable it go to: Settings, info about device, hit 7~8 times in Comp. Number, press back, go to Dev options, and enable USB Debugging].
If you get prompted with a 'Authorize USB Debugging' window on your phone, hit on Remember and OK.

  • Open the install.bat and wait until it says '--- all finished ---'. The phone will self reboot once during the process, don't worry.

  • Now unpack the modified EasyRootTool, open it, and execute the install.bat. It'll ask on your device for root permissions, so hit Allow. Once it finishes, unplug your phone and you're ready to go!

Hope you find this method easier for rooting 4.4.4. Don't forget to thank all people mentioned in this thread!
