Has anyone been able to run/flash a recent, signed RUU (Lollipop, 7.XX) on Linux either in WINE, a VM, or the native fastboot?
HTC Sync Manager crashes under WINE; so does the RUU executable. The rom.zip can still be extracted through WINE, but neither the normal fastboot (Ubuntu 14.04) nor the "legal" fastboot available at HTCDev can flash it without failing. Also, running htc_fastboot under WINE (cmd.exe) doesn't work because the device is not found.
Any help is appreciated.
