Hi there! I've just wanted to tell you my little adventure with roms...
One day I was looking for some good food for my phone, that turned so slow and outdated, reading browsing, I found a post from Rogod on another forum, wich said that JB and KK kernels were also compatible with s7500l and s7500t I decided to take the risk...
First, CWM 6 is a must! had to edit update-script to remove asserts...
first 10 minutes of boot were awful... I almost pissed in my pants when I saw just a black screen!!! but oh... It's a issue because of compatibility stuff or so.. so i just tapped twice the power button to lock/unlock screen and voila.... KK on my latin phone.
THE LESSON:
KitKat loves to eat battery energy, so I suggest in extreme cases to not flash gapps or at least freeze them when not in use.
Also never mess with button backlight options or.. blank screen until restore.
Use Xposed with greenefy to hibernate stuff not in use...
Battery lasts 6h whatsapping or ocassional use... with frozen gapps it makes 10.
I'm waiting for updates, and tremendous THANKS FOR ALL YOU DEVELOPPERS, without you I wouln't enjoy current sw and nice stuff on my phone. I'll go thank your contributions right away!!
