my ROM is just the Team Eureka Rom with a few modifications to non critical files, so nothing i changed would be the reason it doesn't boot. I'm repacking the system.img file using this command on ubuntu
mksquashfs squashfs-root/ system.img -force-uid root -force-gid root (have also tried without -force-gid, -force-uid)
it builds successfully, and the only differences when running "file" on the new and original system.img are my version is bigger (expected) and there's 1709 inodes instead of 1708 for the original
when i try to flash mine, it shows the chromecast text on the bottom of the screen, the the Eureka logo, which slowly fades until its quite dim, but doesn't disappear , then a black screen. the Flashcast logs are the same as well for both the modified and original versions
i can upload both img files to MEGA if anyone wants to examine them.
