Looking for Speaker Gain

I'm looking for a kernel/app that gives me in-call speaker gain controls on stock rooted GB 2.3.6. Any suggestions?

I'd like to avoid flashing cm11 if at all possible as it appears to be quite complicated with the changes in recovery/partition layout.
