Well as my unfortunate luck has it, I wanted to upgrade my old Nexus 4 to a LG G2 D801 unit. I bought one new-refurbished off ebay and it just arrived recently.
I tried to put in my WIND mobile sim card and realized the phone is not detecting it. After looking into the issue for the majority of the day, it seems that the phone is hard/sim locked.
I went into the area where one would go to unlock the phone, only to be greeted by this unfortunate message.
Now first thing I did was start searching the interwebz....and I can't seem to find much on this.
I am not sure what I can do. The shipping back to China, well that's out of the question due to the high cost.
I can't use the phone as it's a T-Mobile device.
I can't unlock the phone because it's hard locked.
Is there anything I can do to get it working? Does anybody know how I could possibly reset the counter for this?
