Here is the latest TWRP Recovery for Android 5.1.1. TWRP lets you back up your stock ROM or flash custom ROMS.
1) You must have an unlocked bootloader to flash this. Once flashed you can root easily. You can follow my guide here:

2) To use. extract the files then flash the twrp_cn.img in Fastboot (fastboot flash recovery twrp_cn.img) or double click the run.bat and follow the instructions.
I am not responsible if anything happens to your device or if your house burns down :D This has been tested on the 703L only. Use it on other models at your own risk.
