When I go to my recovery, I see on the bottom of the screen: dm-verity verificatoin failed. Plzzz help me :(

G530h showing black screen after installing the stock lollipop update

Hey guys so I think I screwed up. I was updating to lollipop stock firmware for the galaxy grand prime (g530h/ds) using odin and I forgot to enable usb debugging before starting the process. It all went well and odin gave me a 'PASSED' message but now the phone doesnt show anything after the samsung boot screen (Which shows the name of the phone and "powered by android" beneath). Also, by 'the display not showing anything', I mean that the display doesnt entirely go black, there are faded vertical bars (initially the is screen dark with faint white edges on all sides) and i can see a very faint shadow of the Android logo and a 'Downloading' caption underneath it (sometimes, not always). Also, the screen fades in and out after a few seconds. Bricked or nah? I cant get into recovery but I can still get into Download mode.
This was the firmware I installed:
G530HXXU2BOH5_G530HSER2BOH5_SER (russian) from samfirmware
and then after all this happened, I retried with this firmware but the same thing happened:
G530HXXU2BOH7_G530HODD2BOH3_INS (indian)

then after digging around on google I realized that you have to install the firmware that matches your region (csc, baseband and all that stuff I did not even understand). Now how do i tell what is the basedband, csc or whatever of my phone so that I can download the proper firmware version? Or am i screwed here? (i know i'm not well versed in the technicalities of rooting and I realize it was my mistake to not properly do research before manually installing firmware, so it would be nice if i get a positive feedback)

pictures not showing in gallery after moving to ext sd card

Hey guys, I recently transferred my photos from phone storage to sd card now it is not showing in my gallery. I am pretty certain I found the answer somewhere on here before but I can't find it anymore.

1. The pictures are there in my sd card I can view it in my a file explorer, but it does not show in "gallery"
2. I tried clearing data for gallery and media. I also tried force closing them, still a no go.

Any other suggestions?

[GUIDE][SOLUTION] OnePlus 2 not showing in ADB but shows in Fastboot (Mac)(Linux)

First of I am doing this thread just to make it easier to find for us Mac guys, Full credit to the threads I used.

Ok had some time thought I would tackle this again. After googling a bit and searching on XDA I came up with this.

Should work in linux also.

In a command (Terminal) window type (Don't type the quotes just whats inside)
"nano ~/.android/adb_usb.ini"
Then when Nano opens add these lines (Don't type the quotes just whats inside)
"0x1949

0x18D1

0x2A70"

Then press the control (ctrl) key and then answer yes (Y) this will save the file.

If adb is running type

"adb kill-server"

Then

"adb devices"

You should see a device now.

Note:

Not tested on linux but it should work. If you are on a Mac and don't have nano then textedit will work fine.

L90 D405 contact photo not showing IN / OUT call

I have L90 D405.
I set contact photo via contact mobile app or web.
When I try call than i see that contact have no photo in incall ui. Same behavior is when contact calling me I see name , but photo is not shown.
I have original stock rom 5.0.2

Not Showing Micro SD on CM12 builds ?!?!?

Hello Forum.....A weird little issue.....I have been using TW based roms with no problem, even some CM12 and AOSP build, but after trying the new minimal rom, my micro sd card is not shown with any file manager (but when i boot back into TWRP its there), tried Dirty Unicorns and Slim Rom, Same thing...only Internal Memory Shown....probably a simple problem.....HELP!

I am in a pretty weird trouble.
I have an LG Optimus G Pro F240L
I was using Henry 8.5 Rom from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/opti...-5-g4-t3152144

By Using this rom I felt like it's not really fast so I searched for how to convert F240X to E98X and Install CM Based Rom for International varient which I tried earlier on my LG G2 LS980 and followed this guide on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/opti...-e988-t2837286
I just updated the build props as Mentioned in the link and then I was successful in installing CM 12.1 official rom (On Which the touch response was terrible), I tried Ressurection remix, bliss pop etc but then again I felt frequent disconnect from network and ohhhh dammmmmn I figured out that I didn't back up my imei before.
Now I am in a strange trouble I reverted back to stock and then again installed Henry 8.5i rom ! Now I have mobile network access ! calls and message + GPRS is working fine but in the about menu my device has a 0 imei . How is this possible?
Please help me how I can get my imei back ? :( :( :(

Google Now always showing basic version of result after recent update

After a recent update of google now i noticed it is not giving any voice result, just a basic webpage. After scrolling to the end of the page it says, " You're seeing a basic version of this page because your connection is slow. Google optimized some pages to use 80% less data, and rest are marked slow to load" . and there is an option below to it which says "switch to standard version" but that applies to the currently loaded result only not "switch to standard version as default"

Well i would have understood if my connection was really slow but its not. in fact other devices connected to same network are showing normal results, the only difference between these devices is that mine is at jelly bean and other is at lollipop..

Sony xperia neo v unable to flash. Showing error.

Hi guys ...I'm writing this after reading many forums...but couldn't find answer to my problem... I recently purchased a used Sony xperia neo v from my friend...wen I bought it I checked all the functions....everything worked..I had kept it switched off for a month....but now it's not reading memory card...it keeps saying blank SD card or damaged sd card..... Tried with many cards non worked . ...so I thought flashing with custom rom would repair it .....after seeing many videos on how to do it and reading forums I tried it ....but while flashing it keeps showing some error....please help..

google maps not showing in the app list?

just installed greenify yesterday and have been playing around with it, pleased with the results so far...but i'm trying to greenify google maps and not having much success.

i get that only the donation version (which i'm strongly considering purchasing btw, just want to do a little more tinkering before commiting) allows for greenifying system apps...so i converted maps to a user app in titanium and rebooted - but maps still isn't showing in the app analyzer for me to greenify it. am i missing something? i see tons of people saying they've greenified maps, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to do it...

also (unrelated), what does 'don't remove notifications' do? i checked it but i don't seem to get any notifications when apps are hibernated (i don't get any notifications regardless of whether it's checked or not, actually)...
