I decided to root my Samsung Galaxy S5 today which was totally successful. I was able to update SuperSu and install Busybox. So, here is when everything went downhill. I wanted to install a custom recovery (used the unofficial twrp) and flashed it through Odin. It confirmed "PASS!" at the end of it and was excited to start finally installing roms on this bad boy. But after it re-booted it went to recovery & something "over-ridden" it in red text. Can't remember word for word but the screen said "At@t something software not allowed" so I tried pulling the battery, and that didn't work so I just used the un-brick guide to flash it back to stock. Once again, Odin confirmed "PASS!" after I downloaded the correct firmware for my phone. But now my phone doesn't boot correctly, it's stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy S5," "powered by android" screen. There is a unlocked lock and has the word "Custom" under it. The phone vibrates when turned on, recovery and download can be accessed, it even makes the At@t boot sound but dosen't boot to the setup. I'm very confused and stuck with what to do. Sorry for the essay but I wanted to put everything I did so it can help you guys out on my situation too. :(
