'Get your apps & data' doesn't like my current phone ?

I've got a HTC One Mini 2 unbranded which backs up daily and for good measure I just forced it to up. I'm switching to a Nexus 5x and trying to transfer the settings, apps and data as it offered.

The Nexus 5x only lists by Nexus 7 tablet, not my HTC , any ideas ?

The HTC backup app isn't available for the Nexus 5x so I can't get that to restore everything.

Got a N6! Now I need opinions which case to get...

I've had plain black phones since the dawn of time and I feel like switching it up this time and throwing some orange in, which one do you guys think I should get
