The perfect setup of Moto X Play

Hey guys!

Power users already have custom kernels and ROMs, and it is possible to tune some advanced settings with and without root, so what did you modified on yours?
A lot of users reported performance issues and others just want more features, more efficiency, etc. Of course, there are those who just likes the device the way it comes from Motorola or don't want to void the warranty.
With all this diversity, I created this thread for we discuss what is the best setup for our device and how can we extract the best of it.

rerun CM Setup wizard?

is there a command or something on cm 12.1 that allows us to rerun once again setup wizard on reboot just once?

This setup was done on the New Fire TV 2015 running Fire OS 5, but most of the apps should work jute fine on Fire OS 4.

Cant get past setup wizard after factory reset?

I am on a Verizon LGG4 VS986 rooted.

My hosts file is currently blocking google services because of an issue I had with the Freedom IAP cracker app. Before I knew that the hosts file was the issue, google play said that it was unable to connect as well as my youtube and my google drive so I decided to factory reset using recovery mode. After my factory reset and cache clear I was put in the setup wizard where I have been "Checking connection..." for the last hour. I think my hosts file is preventing me from finishing my setup wizard and I cant exit the setup. How do I edit or delete my hosts file without being able to get in my phone?

Things I've tried:

-factory reset
-return to stock (http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/g...k-kdz-t3107848) KDZ not TOT
-cache clear

Gear VR "Network error" during setup (custom ROM)

Hi there!
I have an issue in "Ditto Note 5 ROM v0.3 from Electron Team" for Note 4 (920C)
During Gear VR setup on Note 4 the setup wizard throw "Network error" and nothing happens. I have tried remove sim card, but nothing helps. I can't google right solution.
Maybe it depends on regional CSC or something else? Could anyone help?

Is there a way i can setup a custom partition sizes on xperia z1 nand?

Its not majorly important but i would like to edit the partition sizes of the xperia z1's nand. like shrink system partition and grow the data partition. again its not dire but i would like to experiment and learn more about the NAND setup.

Droid RAZR HD Stuck on Setup Wizard

I have a xt925 (I think) Droid RAZR HD.

For a period of time it was boot-looped but it seems like I was able to fix it. However, whenever I try to start the phone it gets to this first time setup wizard and when I press start it shows, "Please wait, this may take a few minutes" and it gets stuck there. I have tried putting it on full battery and charger and leaving it to do so overnight and in the morning it still shows that message. Can you please help me to get past this setup wizard so I can use my phone again?
