How does the split window work? How can you save the prearranged application window pairs? Is there a document somewhere with detailed instructions on how all this works?

Split keyboard developer preview 3
Is split keyboard available on developer preview 3 as I can't find it anywhere in settings and as this is my for android m build I have used in unsure how to access it.
