Digitizer swap
Hello
Does anyone have any knowledge of using a different tablet glass digitizer. I have an ainol novo 10 hero ii and replacement screens cost more than its worth. I can get a cheap screen with same 10 pin ribbon connection and fit it, but I'm wondering how the software side will be.

quattro 18552 kernel not supporting swap by roehsoft ramexpander
hi ......im using samsung galaxy grand quattro.....though rooted i didnt change anything in it....tried to run roehsoft ramexpander..but memory info & swap chedk app concluded that my phones kernel doesnot support swap.so roehsoft ram expander cannot be run on ur device..so try to find custom rom ............im a doctor..i dont have any idea about how to find out that custom rom which supports both my device as well as roehsoft ram expander...can anyone post a detailed step by step guide on how to make my device run roehsoft ramexpander......thankyou....
How to activate/apply SWAP memory?
Hi all,
currently I have ROM from here installed on my Samsung GT-S8500. It runs really smooth and battery consumption is really good. I already succeeded in struggling with things like getting a local calendar to work.
But TripAdvisor is not working. If I interpreted logcat correctly it lacks on memory. ZRam is already integrated in ROM and running but this does not help. So I tried to setup some SWAP memory space on my external Class10 SD card. Unfortunately no success yet. Swapper for Root does not give me any error but there is also no additional swap space available when it runs.
So I read tons of articles and threads on xda, stackoverflow and other sides and tried dozens of different proposol - with no success at all. So for example I cannot mount my Ext4 partition on external SD in order to use it for swapping or placing a swapfile on it since /mnt stays readonly (wanted to mount it as /mnt/sdcard2) - or creating a swapfile using busybox (even without) and dd on external FAT32 partition does not work since when calling busybox swapon on it I always get "Invalid argument" with no additional information (logcat was not helpful here for me).
Can somebody please give me some hint how to activate swap memory space on my external SD card? Information on kernel showed that it supports swp.
