Interested in other people's opinions on the S6's internal DAC. I just bought a Beyerdynamic A200P because it was on sale for 0. Eager to try it out I waited all week and received the unit last night and have been testing it for hours, doing many between headphones and ports, and honestly, I really can't tell any differences.
I was under the impression from audiosnob (audiophile) posts that the S6's internal DAC was basically garbage and that spending or more on a simple accessory would be a night and day difference. I'm trying real hard to notice if there are any subtle differences but all I'm really sensing is volume differences; audio doesn't feel cleaned up, soundstages don't feel any wider, and I'm starting to suspect maybe it'd just be better to stick with the S6's standard hardware rather than carrying around and using other hardware.
