Freezing System Update Service Drains Battery?

I'm rooted on 5.0.1 (24B) and, of course, trying to prevent an update to 35B. Using the DisableService app, I've disabled all the System Update services. (Disabling the "SystemUpdateService" under Google Play Services or Google Services Framework does not prevent the system update notification.) When I do this, my battery life is TERRIBLE. Battery gets warm and lose 10% an hour or more when idle (screen off).

Any thoughts on why this might be happening? Any other techniques to kill the system update process in 5.0.1?

Lock screen freezing issue. Takes 3-4 seconds to turn on screen

Hi guys,

Do you have any issues of screen freezing in you yuphoria. Sometimes when we turn the screen on from standby, it takes 3-4 seconds for the screen to turn on. It can be solved by just rebooting the phone and after two days the issue occurs again. I think its som cache issue or something like that.. Many of the yuphoria users are having the same issue.. Do anyone have any solution for this ??

Recurrent partition errors and freezing

I updated my s4 to the lollipop goh1 update through Odin. All went well. Used it for about a day when all of a sudden the screen stopped responding and went blank. In this state it is identified by the computer as qhusb dload. When I pull the battery and restart it starts fine and boot alright but after about 2 minutes of use (or less) it freezes again. I reflashed the rom(l720sptgoh1) through Odin and still gave me same problem,flashed it with pit file numerous time etc. Upon each flash when it boots to stock recovery to complete, it shows cache wipe failed. I installed philz recovery to try to wipe cache and it was successful however now system won't boot at all,stuck on glowing Samsung with blue blinking led. I've tried installing cm12 and recovery cannot mount system data and cache partitions. I then reflash through odin retry and get the same results. Could it be hardware? Please help. I'm desperate

Random Freezing For a Few Seconds, Screen On Or Off -- Logcat Attached

Hey guys, I have the Verizon LG G4. I noticed lately that my phone when the screen is off and I am streaming music with Spotify sometimes the music just stops for about 2 seconds then comes back on. The playlist is downloaded locally so it's not the network. It also does it sometimes with the screen on, I'll be scrolling through a screen and it freezes for a second or 2. I ran a logcat while Spotify plays with the screen off. It skipped and I got the logcat copied during the event. The logcat is attached. Can anyone please help? This is driving me nuts! Thank you in advance!

Occasional Freezing and Music Skipping

Hey everyone, quick question, curious if any else experiences this. I have my VZW G4 rooted and have some optimizations. Kernel Adiutor tweaks, Greenifying apps etc. I notice sometimes that the UI freezes for a second or two then comes back to life and sometimes when playing music with the screen off the music will stop playing for a second or 2 then come back on. The music is locally downloaded from Spotify so I know it's not my data connection dropping off. Anyone else experience something similar or have any recommendations? Thanks!
