How to enter in twrp recovery once installed?

Hi guys, I am a bit lost[emoji16] [emoji35] [emoji33] ...

I usually root HTC phones without problem...

This time I unlocked the nexus 9 boot loader, OK, I flashed the last twrp recovery via fastboot on my pc....

Then the phone entered in twrp recovery...I installed supersu with twrp, flashed elemental x via twrp....

Okayyyy.....

The tablet rebooted normally and functions normally but I can't enter in twrp recovery directly via the tablet on hboot menu...

Have I missed something? Do I have, with nexus, to ALWAYS connect the device to the pc to enter in recovery and try or modify kernels?

[What] Hey guys. So I tried undervolting once more and it goes really low.

So my procedure was setting same frequency as min and max and then going -5mv until it reboots. So far no reboots, trying to play it safe, but my voltages are getting really low and I don't know if it's normal or am I just lucky. Here's my table https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing (700 v means it didn't reboot while I played youtube and launched apps, 700 x would mean that it did reboot at 700mv)

Still testing!

EDIT: It crashes if my phone goes a big step in voltage, in example +140 mv (from 770mv at 1497 MHz to 910mv at 1574 MHz)
