Remove partitions after trying out Ubuntu

Hi,
I tried out ubuntu on my phone a while back, but went back to CM because it was not working. Now, every time I flash an update to CM12.1 I get a lot of error messages about partitions that are left from trying out ubuntu.

Does anyone know how I clean up this partition mess?

Thanks,
J

Messed up with internal partitions on my device

Hi,
How it happended :I wanted to just Overclocked the CPU of my Swipe Monster tab XL916,and as a consequence my device got hanged .I rebooted it and it was still working but it had no User apps in it.

What happened:It was a strange when I checked out in Setting>Storage that now i had two internal storage partition(Strange)....One partition was just 16 mb( i call it the artificial internal storage) and other was The Other was the actual partition which was 5GB in size. Now its considering the 16 mb as the actual internal and assuming the actual internal memory as sd card(although i also have a addition external sd card on my device that is 8GB in size).

As a reult of which:Thus i could only install apps which actually get installed on sd card (or which can move most of its part to sd card for eg mx player). And also these apps get removed on every boot :(.

What i think could have happened:Maybe it could have changed some system files which led to changes in overall system partition table. I am seriously not able to understand what has went wrong with my device. Please help in in settling these changes to internal partitions.

Extra Info:One more thing have come to my notice that when i install some apps to the system memory(using adb push) it reflects in the artificial internal storage as well.(it becmae 34 mb from 16mb)That means the artifical internal storage is none other than a part of system memory which due to some problem in partition table is being reflected as internal memory. If you need output of any adb command just tell me.

Desire X Partitions

Hello

I am not a newbie user of your forums but it's my first thread. Usually I am a read-only user. I have to congratulate to all the people that makes this site a wonderful place :victory:

I have a question for the Oracle...

I wonder if there's any possibility of modifying partition's table of Desire X by removing the unused (at least for me) 1gb internal SD partition to increase ext partition and so the space for apps

May be I am trying to reinvent the wheel, I don't know... :p

Thanks in advance

[Question] Resizing partitions with TWRP

I have a brand new G3 (D852) with Koodo that I just got 2 days ago. I've rooted, installed TWRP and flashed a few AOSP roms. Not a fan of any manufacturer UI, even though LG's is very minimal, so AOSP it is. I noticed that my system partition has more than 1GB of free space after everything is flashed and good to go. I also noticed that the latest TWRP (2.8.7.0) has a resize partition option inside the Wipe section. What I want to know is, how can I use this to resize the system and data partitions so that 1GB+ isn't being wasted and unused. I'd really like to get that 1GB+ added to my data partition for apps.

I've tried using it. The only time it didn't spit out an error was after I wiped the system partition. It succeeded in "resizing" it after that, but it didn't change anything. The system partition remained the same size.
