So i looked everywhere to make the S6 Edge Plus sounds louder, but i could only find a louder mod for the S6 Edge, so I decided to do a mod myself and share :)

If you want louder music for your headphones or a little louder for the speaker then simply unzip the attached xml file and copy it to system/etc. and change the permissions to -rw -r -r. Restart your phone and enjoy better louder sound :)

Remember, always back up the original mixer_gains.xml,

If you want the sounds lower or louder then edit the mixer_gains.xml input 1 Volume values in the media playback volume section from lines 6

Lines 26 and 27 is the headphone volume values.

Sprint L720T On Boost No LTE / Sim card issue

Hello, recently I set up my L720T on Boost, however it rejects the SIM card during the activation process and then locks it out, then leaves an error saying no SIM card. Does anyone no of a trick or possible the OTA app from a Boost ROM for L720T that I could install and have the activation process go through?

EDIT: This isn't one of those donor phone flash things, I called Boost to resku the S4 IMEI and the SIM was originally different. When I popped in an approved SIM they said it should automatically authenticate but that's not what's happening.

Boost sound volume

Is there any app or rom available that actually boosts the volume?
I tried a few apps from the store but none worked.
All info is appreciated.

Boost moto g lollipop OTA

Just got an OTA from boost for my xt1031. The version is 221.21.56. Looks like it is the 5.1.1 update. Anyone got this too? Is there a official stock rom (zip) from boost on this version?

[Mod] Native volume boost - no apps needed! mixer_paths.xml

This is a tiny mod to get some better volume from Moto G3. I used the mixer_paths.xml from the .44 2gb build for xt1540, but the file should be universal for g3, maybe even g2 and g...I haven't tested it on anything but my own g3, so I can't say.

Use at your own risk!

Drop (replace) the file in /etc and change permissions to rw-r--r--

To revert, use the mixer_paths.xml.bak file provided, rename mixer_paths.xml, and set permissions.

You must reboot for changes to apply. This is a TOTAL volume mod!! it will boost every volume on the device.

Default value is 84, I set it at 90. I like my music extremely loud, and this was slightly lower than I would choose, so it should be good for most people. If anyone wants more or less, I can take requests.

New screen Popped up on Boost Moto e

I have a moto e on boost mobile. Today I got this message. Anyone know what this basically means, or have got it themselves? Thank you

Continue only if you have messed with the /system partition (and don't remember what you changed) and you are on 5.1.1 this will remove root but you will keep your data

Okay well now

1. Make sure you have a Windows PC


2. Download the LG Drivers from here


3. Download this 5.1.1 ZV5 System.img <-----link coming very soon


4. Place downloaded img to your external SD via adapter or through a spare phone you have


5. Now place SD back into your phone


6. Reboot your device into download mode


7. Download this folder and unzip it to your desktop:


8. Run ports.bat from within the extracted folder, to find your correct port (use the one with: LGVZANDNETDIAG1)


9. In the LG_Root folder hold shift and right click and choose open command windows here


10. Type

help with making a stock based custom rom for the Boost Stylo

so basically on the Sprint LG G4 (locked bootloader like us with Boost/Sprint) they are able to flash a stock based custom rom via Send_Command with a DD code http://forum.xda-developers.com/spri...91-g4-t3211725

so in theory we should be able to do the same since i have flashed the stock rom as well via this method...so i just need help on debloating the stock.img to try this myself...like how would i go about this?

Question before activating Boost (xt1031)

I'm currently running stock 5.1 soak test and was wondering would I need to downgrade to KitKat before activating my device?
