AFTV2 - Custom DNS Server setting does not work on WiFi connection

I have noticed on the AFTV2 that custom DNS setting only works on the WIRED network. If you try the same on the WiFI connection (by clicking Advanced in the popup window) ... it will pretend to accept the custom DNS ... but instead rolls back to the DNS supplied by the DHCP server.

I need the custom DNS to work on the WiFI connection. My Apple TV box also has a custom DNS - so Amazon need to fix the bug .. without me having to root the device etc.

[International Pushbullet Server] N5X & N6P Availability

Since somebody asked me to do so I've adapted my code from last year ([International Pushbullet Server] [US Pushbullet] [N6 Browser Launch] N6 Availability) to be able to setup a channel in order to be notified when the nexus is able to buy in that countries that are still waiting.

International Nexus 6 Pushbullet Java Server channel
I can't setup Nexus 6 Pushbullet Channels outside US because is where I'm living now but I can share a Java program that will work at any country so you can setup your country channel.

Be aware:
  • If they modify the website code this program may not work (but is unlikely).

  • The program will check the page where the server or computer is located.

  • If you use a VPN be careful because maybe the server will be checking a different country page.

  • The only restriction is that the Nexus page has to be available.

  • If you share your channel please try to run the Pushbullet server 24/7 because people will be disappointed if the nexus appear and the server is not running.

How to setup:
  1. Setup a Pushbullet account: https://www.pushbullet.com/

  2. Create a new channel: https://www.pushbullet.com/my-channels

  3. Find and save your api key also called acces token: https://www.pushbullet.com/account

  4. Download the servernexus.jar file

  5. Install the latest Java in your laptop, PC or Server.

  6. Setup your java environment variables properly (help)

  7. Open your terminal or cmd

  8. Go to the path where your file is located

  9. Run your servernexus.jar file as: java -jar servernexus.jar <api key> <channel tag> (help)

  10. Example: java -jar servernexus.jar 11KJ45JH34NDWFN234N423 nexus6availabilityuk

  11. If everything works well you will see a Pushbullet notification on your channel indicating that the server is running.

The refresh time is 5 seconds
