Does MI4 Supports xposed framowork and its module? I am planning to buy MI4, but need to know this first, and any way to root and install SuperSu or Superuser, not the KingRoot.

Thanks

Install Xposed Framework to LG Spirit without recovery

This is method of installing Xposed Framework which is made by @rovo89 to use some tweaks without needing to modify system files (like SystemUI).
Original post was made in General Thread by @polfrank but I need to edit it with some new things which he is missing.

Code:

I'm in no way responsible for whatever happens to your device if things go wrong.
Your device is your responsibility, proceed with caution and only if you know what you're doing.

Apps and stuff which is needed to install Xposed Framework

* Root
* BusyBox - IMPORTANT, script don't work properly without BusyBox installed
* Terminal Emulator
* Root Explorer or ES File Explorer
* Installer script - Updated to work with latest version of Xposed Framework zip files. It shows some minor problems which doesn't make installer not working. Translated from Spanish to English by @midzan21 aka myself.
* Xposed Framework zip file - IMPORTANT, download SDK21-ARM variant, not ARM64 or SDK22-ARM variant, because stock ROMs are compiled with 32-bit version, not 64-bit. Also SDK21 is for Lollipop 5.0.x and SDK22 is for Lollipop 5.1.x
* Xposed Installer apk - download latest version and install it
* Brain.apk - just in case, but still important

Installation process:

1.) Put Xposed Framework zip, Xposed Installer apk and Installer script (extracted) on Internal memory of device (Internal SD Card, not your real SD card if you have it)
2.) Install BusyBox
3.) Open Terminal Emulator and enter this commands
3.1.) Gain Root Permissions after entering su command

Code:

su
sh /sdcard/installer

4.) Enter once Y to continue installation
5.) After installation is done open your Root Explorer (buy it and support developer of app) or ES File Explorer (free)
5.1.) If you use ES File Explorer obtain it Root Permissions and make / (root folder) and /data writable
6.) Remove all files from /cache folder
7.) Remove all files from /data/dalvik-cache folder
6.1 & 7.1) If you don't wanna to use Root Explorer or ES File Explorer enter this commands in Terminal Emulator right after installer finishes

Code:

rm -rf /cache
rm -rf /data/dalvik-cache

8.) Reboot device
9.) Install Xposed Installer apk
10.) Open Xposed Installer and check in Framework section check does it writes: Xposed framework version XX is active (XX is latest version)
11.) Install module which you want and after enabling it reboot phone
12.) Enjoy :)

Problems, bugs and issues:

Currently none, added to script to remove LG QuickCover which make Force Close

Old bugs, problems and issues:

Weather FC (Fixed with never versions of Xposed Framework)
Tethering and networks in Settings FC (Fixed with never versions of Xposed Framework)
After every boot you have Android is upgrading screen (fixed with never versions of Xposed Framework)

To do list:

* Update script to automatically cleans /cache and /dalvik-cache folders

Forced restarts after installation of Alliance Framework v3.1

Hello guys,

my S6 is restarting itself every here and there, after I installed the Alliance Framework v3.1 on my XtreStoLite Deo-Mod Edition 2.4. What could be the matter. I just flashed the Framework with TWRP and it said it was successfull and the framework is fully functioning but just the forced restarts are troubling.

How can I add jar and odex file to framework folder?

I have a Galaxy Young Duos TV (GT-S6313T), and I'm using a Galaxy Young Duos (GT-S6312) ROM, X-Sam Duos.

Trying to port TV to this ROM, I've searched in stock ROM all files that have "broadcast", "nex", "ltn" and "one seg" in its name. Then I copied them to new installation, including TV apk and odex.

I get two behaviors: if I put all files found in ROM, less the /system/framework files, ROM boot normally, but TV app doesn't appear. If I put all, including the frameworks, ROM doesn't boot, get stuck in Samsung animation.

What can I do?

[APP] microG GmsCore - FLOSS Play Services compatible framework

WIP, Come back later!

Introduction
microG GmsCore is a FLOSS (Free/Libre Open Source Software) framework to allow applications designed for Google Play Services to run on systems, where Play Services is not available. If you use your phone without GAPPS this might become a useful tool for you.
microG GmsCore is one of the two core components of the microG project.

Instructions
Preparation:
  1. You ROM needs to be GAPPS-free. Either don't install them or remove them, if your ROM ships them. Please note that microG GmsCore might run on a cleaned stock ROM, but it might also brick it or cause random bugs.

  2. You need a ROM that supports signature faking. Some custom ROMs are patched to support signature faking out of the box, including all OmniROM-based ones. CyanogenMod inclusion is in review. Please ask your ROM developer if unsure.
If you are a ROM developer or just do custom builds for whatever reason, you can download and include the patch from here.
If your ROM does not support signature faking, but you use Xposed, you can grab a Xposed module here. Note however that this is not the preferred way to go.

  3. Remove UnifiedNlp. In case you installed it before. You can keep your backend modules installed, microG Services will be able to use them later and provide the same feature set (to be precise, microG Services includes UnifiedNlp.

Installation:
The installation does not require any modification of the /system partition. All installations should be done using the default app installer included with Android or using `adb install`. This means you need to enable third-party sources or developer mode first.
  1. Install GmsCore.apk as provided in the download section below.

  2. If you want to use Google Cloud Messaging ("Push-Notifications"), Install GsfProxy.apk as provided in the download section below. The GsfProxy version does not need to match the GmsCore.apk version.

    1. If you have BlankStore installed, continue with the next step.

    2. If you want to be able to access the Play Store, install BlankStore from its thread. It is not a requirement that you set it up correctly and this is not covered by this instructions. If you need help ask in the original thread.

    3. If you don't care about Play Store access, Install FakeStore.apk as provided in the download section below.

  3. Open the microG Settings, which are available in the launcher now. If you want to use any Google services (Log-In, Cloud Messaging), tick both checkboxes for background services. This is the only supported setup, but you are free to disable them if you like playing with fire. You can also open the UnifiedNlp settings to enable the location backends of your choice. If you don't have any yet, check out F-Droid. For further questions and concerns regarding UnifiedNlp, use its corresponding thread.

  4. Reboot your device. If you skip this step, everything unwanted is possible.

Using it:
  • You can test Google Cloud Messaging using this test application. Push notifications do not require account registration.

  • You can add an account through the system settings. Some applications might ask you to do so, if you don't.

  • Use your applications as you like. Some hint of applications that can run due to microG GmsCore: TextSecure/Signal, Play Music, YouTube

Samsung pay framework

Anybody know the package name for samsung pay framework so I can freeze it with the debloater tool? Ever since I installed it, hoping samsung pay would work, my bluetooth connectivity has been horrible. I'm thinking that might be the problem.

Xposed framework activity question...

Hello all, I'm on D855,and after few attempts I managed to get Xposed working. I had issues with SDK 21 thing.
Now its working but can't se 'table thing' on there. It just says 'version 74 is active' with no possibility to press Install/Update. There is screen shot. Is this behavior normal for xposed, or I did something wrong?
Thanks.
