Hi looking for Schematic on Touch Panel Connector to troubleshoot hardware issue

If anyone has a schematic or better yet troubleshooting/service manual for XT875 would be greatly appreciated. My touch screen isn't working even after replacement and I think it has something to do with motherboard connection and need to check voltages/pin assignments. Any help very appreciated...I have had this phone for 4 years and hope to have it for another 4...

Speakerphone microphone hardware issue

Hi!

I had my S4 (I9505) serviced a few months ago. Warranty repair, they replaced the whole mainboard. The repair took forever, and when I got the phone back, I already had purchased another one (second hand) that I liked better (Xperia Z1 compact, I liked the size), so I tested the repaired phone was working, but no more than that. A few months later when I missed my big screen and some custom ROMs I took back my I9505 and started using it with stock ROM. I soon noticed people couldn't hear me when I was on speaker phone. Then I flashed a few aosp and CM based ROMs, and realized it wasn't a software issue: it did not work on those either. And when trying to dictate something, or use voice command, the phone just doesn't "hear" anything. So the same mic must be involved in those operations, which makes sense since it is when you speak from further away from your phone.
Unfortunately, months have passed since the repair and the phone is no longer under warranty.
I started investigating a little bit, and it seems there are two microphones on the phone. The regular one works well but the other one not at all. So, here are my questions:

1. Is the second microphone located on the top of the phone, next to the headphone jack? If anyone has a diagram or picture of the board with the second microphone marked, I'd be happy to see it :)
2. How is that second mic connected to the board? Is it a cable, a contact or is it welded? Or is it integrated on the board?
3. If it is a part that can be replaced, where can it be purchased?
4. Anyone has had the same issue? If so, could you solve it?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

Hardware Gurus: is this a hardware problem?

Hi guys
I'm sure this problem is not brand specific but a general issue:
My device (Xiaomi Redmi Note 1W 3G) loses its display from time to time. The screen (1) flickers for a few secs or
(2) during standby it loses power, only way is reinsert battery. Sometimes there is a freeze (3)which means for half a minute the system hangs until it reboots all alone.
My question to you: is it possible some internal wires have become loose, or and other idea?
btw, my device never ran correctly, from the first day on, issues.
So far, I've tried a custom ROM and several global versions as well as TWRP and CWM.
Any help highly appreciated! [emoji316] [emoji26]

Qualcomm hardware cryptographic engine doesn´t work on Z5C?

Hello,

i just got my Z5C yesterday and so far i´m more than happy. But there is one issue:

I use the AOSP Full disk encryption on the phone but it seems like the native Qualcomm hardware cryptographic engine doesn´t work well - i benchmarked the internal storage before and after, here are the results:

Before: read ~ 200 MB/s write: ~ 120 MB/s
After: read ~ 120 MB/s write: ~ 120 MB/s
(Benchmarked by A1 SD Bench)

I´m using a FDE on my windows 10 Notebook with an e-drive resulting in like 5% performance loss. The decrease in read-speed on the Z5C is noticable. What do you think, is there something wrong or is this a normal behaviour?

Cheers

LG and sprint admit hardware issue:

Today we got an email from Sprint:

"Retail Team,

A hardware issue has been identified in the LG G4. LG is aware of the issue and is already in the process of shipping out replacement inventory. When new models arrive they will be distinguished from the current inventory in a way that is yet to be confirmed – we will communicate this information when we have it.

In the meantime, while only a very small percentage of devices are impacted, we want to preserve the customer experience. All locations must cease to sell the LG G4 for the time being. Please keep your current inventory in a secure location until further instructions arrive (later today). Until new inventory arrives, please inform customers who are interested in the LG G4 that you do not have any in stock inventory available, but we can direct ship the device.

Please perform any S&R transactions business as usual. If a customer has a defective G4 they are wanting to exchange, please explain that you are happy to perform their exchange when you are replenished next week. If this will put them over their 14 days, we will allow an exchange within a reasonable timeframe (please work with your DM in these one off situations).

Watch your email for additional instructions to come later today."

Basically, we aren't even allowed to sell the device now till we get replacement inventory because some of the device are impacted with this issue. Seems like they had to many screen and freezing issues and finally had to bite the bullet. This seems to be exclusive to Sprint as the other carrier devices don't seem to have these same issues.
