Hi, is there a way to flash a custom ROM without unlocking the bootloader? The thetered recovery seems not working...

N5110 Stock stagefright patch info?

My wife's fully stock (4.4.2) N5110 started getting update notifications from Samsung Software Update.
Per the info, it's a 7.61 MB 'device stability and bug fixes' patch that includes security enhancements and StageFright fix.

1. Is there information on everything installed with this patch?

2. Will installing this block any future attempts at root / installing a custom ROM? (If she ever lets me; this is solely her device and doesn't care about root/ROMs ;) )

3. Since this is a wifi only note8 - how vulnerable is it to stagefright if I don't patch? Everything I've read says 'stagefright is more than an MMS vulnerability' but then the details only go into the MMS vuln :|

Thanks in advance and sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - I searched and didn't find anything.

[WP 8.1] Interop - Extra e info problem

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to do some registry changes in my Lumia 640 LTE, and so I need to do an interop unlock. I've followed steps from

HTML Code:

---

http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-phone-8/development/xap-customwpsystem-patch-xaps-wpsystem-t2975419

---

and got stuck on installing Extras e info on SD card - Store says that the publisher doesn't allow to install it on SD card, so it's impossible to do the rest of the guide. I also tried to replace Preview for Developers, but after finishing, opening isn't possible, it just run for like 0.5 sec and then exit. Can anybody help me with this problem? My target is to reach registry files to add custom theme colours and change transparency of apps pinned on desktop, as it is in WP 10 (which I don't want to use due to problems with stability and SD card). I tried other SD card, rebooting, reinstalling everything. Software is fresh, I did rollback fro WP10 today. Help!

PS. Sorry for misstakes, I have to Polish my english and I know that.

How to hide unused SIM card info?

Is there any way to hide the icon of the SIM I'm not using? It's a little annoying for me that icon, the notification of empty SIM slot, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Clearview case, change info displayed?

Basically as the title says...is there any way to change what is displayed on the clearview screen? I've found under accessories there is a segment for it but the only option, on mine, is to turn the dual clock on or off.

Am I missing something or is that the only option? I'd like to be able to customize it somewhat.

Should I OTA update? Software info inside

I suppose it's only been about a couple months since I rolled back to factory, unrooted then rooted again, flashed TWRP and did another Debloat session with this phone so my question is from

5.0.1 Android
Kernel 3.4.0
Build LRX21Y
Soft D850211

Should I bother doing all this again to accept the OTA? Of all the things I've learned about phones I've never learned how to properly evaluate an update so if anyone can point me in the right direction as to maybe some reading material I'd appreciate that too :) You guys are numero uno.

Note 4 screen call info

Hi there guys, hope i posted in the right place.

I was wondering if there is an option to display on caller screen (when somebody is calling you) additional info like Organization (company) like you can on the iPhone 6. Is there an app for such a thing or?

Thanks in advance and hope you all have a nice day,
Cipri
