Flashed wrong boot file

Hi :) Well I had this big problem and I was close to solving it until i messed things up, I tried to not ask for help here but it's been a week and I can't find anything ): My g925p is just useless right now. I hope you can help me

Short version
Using Twrp I picked the efs.img to flash it and I didn't see it had two options ( Boot, recovery ) It's on boot by default so I guess the file flashed as boot and now everytime i turn the phone on it goes directly to download screen ( for odin ) ... I think if someone can make a backup of their boot.img file and upload it somewhere i could flash it and then everything would be back to normal ? At least boot into the rom .-. Thanks for your time !
By the way, When I try to transfer files via sideload twrp tells me i need a higher version for that device, And I have the latest version .-. Thank you guys :)

Long version
It all started when I tried to flash twrp with flashify, I guess i flashed a wrong version and my phone got stuck on a bootloop, I fixed it by installing the latest version of twrp and factory reset, But then it got into a bootloop in the initial setup, So I decided to Flash a light rom and it worked ! but it wouldn't connect to data, Before I had this problem I backed up esf.img and I thought it would restore connection, But then ... ( Continue in short version B) )

Thanks you so much for reading guys !

Installed CMW on the wrong firmware, now I can't downgrade and install it properly.

I blindly tried to install CWM on my second rooted firetv running 51.1.1.0_user_511070220. I am trying to downgrade to 51.1.0.2_user_510058520 so I can properly install CMW but it doesn't seem to take, when i reboot recover it just stays on the amazon logo and halts. I followed all the tutorials perfectly and had no problem installing CMW on my other fire tv that came stock with 51.1.0.2_user_510058520.

Im curious if CMW is installed yet not compatible thus blocking any downgrading attempts, if so what would be the process of removing cmw?

Audio files jumping to wrong locations regardless of player used

Got a Moto X Play a few days ago to replace my broken Nexus 5, and there's been a problem that's constantly messing with my podcast listening habits.

Regardless of what audio player is used (Google Music, BeyondPod, Podcast Addict...), there are problems with seeking to a position in audio files. For example: Jumping back 20 seconds to listen to a part I missed might result in jumping forward a few minutes instead. This happens maybe one in four times on average. All of the players' seek bars and timers show the position as being where the jump was intended, but the actual audio being played is from some other position. After 5-20 seconds the audio suddenly jumps to the correct position that the seek bar has been showing all along. Same thing happens when using the seek bar to jump around, so it seems to be about seeking in general.

Could it be a broken audio chip on my unit or is the implementation just messed up on this model? I don't know if there is a common factor like the files being MP3 VBR and the MediaPlayer implementation having problems with seeking audio streams that use variable bitrates. I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks and the problem seems to occur with all of them, but they all might use encoding. I've tried to do a factory reset and disabling Audio Effects under Sound & notification, different players, etc. I'd guess the players all use the system provided MediaPlayer class under the hood instead of implementing their own, so changing the player app makes no difference.

Any ideas, or could someone do some testing on their unit? When testing, it might not happen instantly, or it might happen every other seek...

M9 bricked (doesn`t POWER On) after flashing a wrong ZIP-file via TWRP...Please HELP

Good morning :)

I`ve got a really big problem and don`t know if I`m able to solve it or if I have to send my phone to HTC..

I rooted the m9 and got S-Off through the sunshine app. Then I wanted to flash a custom splash-screen via cmd but it didn`t work.. I tried something else and that turned out to be really stupid:

I flashed the zip-file from here android-hilfe.de/thema/how-to-splash-screen-aendern.433411 which normaly was created for the m7 only with my m9 through TWRP and did a reboot..now my phone went OFF and I couldn`t start it again...till today. That means that I`m unable to start anything. Off course there is no connection between phone and computer, too. The phone is still OFF and I have tried many different things to restart it but without success :(

As I said before, the phone was rooted and S-Off. Everything else is still on stock. I think it `s the unbranded version from Taiwan. The CID was HTC__621 but I`ve changed it to 11111111.

If there is no way to fix this, where should I send the phone? Directly to HTC or back to the online-store where I bought it a few weeks ago?

Hope to hear from you soon..
Thx in advance and best regards!

Can flashing the wrong System App in TI HARD brick your phone

or cause problems (ie missing sim card) even after a factory reset of custom ROM?

Something is wrong, battery is bad

So long story short, my battery life isn't even close to being on par with most screenshots I see. People claim to get 5 hours of SOT on a heavy day while my phone is struggling to pull out 3 hours on a light day. Last time I started a thread people told me to wait until lollipop, but it still hasn't improved and its been a month after I took the update. I barely reach 18 hours on a really good day but most days I'm stuck with 11-12 hours before my phone dies. I can't remember the last time i had over 3 and a half hours of screen on time on a phone that's easily supposed to pull 4.5-6. I've tried everything, disabling apps, radios, ect... Any advice? Any chance i can complain to Motorola and have them ship me a new one that could possibly solve the problem? Please help because it's very frustrating that the only reason I bought the turbo was for battery life and I got almost the same battery life with my old S4

Bricked D802 after flashing .kdz (wrong kdz)

Hello,
So i decided to go @ stock, and used lg flash tool to flash d802 .kdz, but i downloaded the wrong one (europe version, mine is Singapour).
So now my phone is bricked i think, it shows either black screen, or backlight with screen artfacts.
On device manager i see only "GENERIC MTP USB", and if i try to go on download mode (nothing is displayed, only black screen), i see LGE android phone.

So at what level is it bricked ? and what are my options.

Thank you

Resolution wrong in certain apps. Running Oxygen OS 2.1.0

I have noticed with Oxygen OS 2.1.0 and older, some apps resolutions are off, e.g. wechat and textra. Please see the videos attached as they explain better.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNQFiUE5Ack
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6BiboeSGJE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lgwGgyMky8

I believe this is an OS issue because my daydream photos stacked also are shifted off the screen and doesn't utilize a 3rd of it (see picture).
I did change my dpi from 480 to 400; however, when I switched it back I still had the same issue.
I never had these issues with my 5.5" MI3 and OPO.

Any ideas?
