White or black phone with a black case?

Hey all!

I'm about to order my Xiaomi Mi4C and I can't decide what color to choose, white or black. I'm usually going with black on all my devices, but now that I'm looking at available cases and I see pictures of a white phone with a black case, I think it looks really nice.
Worth mentioning is that only the backside is white, and the front is still black. So when you're looking at the phone from the front, all you see will be black. But if you look at the phone from behind, you'll see 90% black and some nice details of white.

Anyone mind helping me out with this? What would you do, as a guy that normally goes all black? :)

Changing Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 housing from white to black.

Currently I'm in the middle of changing the full housing for my Note N7000. The original colour is White but I wanted to change it to Black. The problem is, the 2nd screen with white layout is sticked with the LCD behind of it.

Is it possible for me to transfer it to the new 2nd screen? I'll provide the picture with it later on.
Any replies are much appreciated.

Spigen Neo Hybrid black - cheap good cover

This is the Spigen Neo Hybrid cover. It's well balanced, really thin, it protects the phone from the back and front, and improves the grip when you have the phone in your hand. What else I can ask for only 20bucks! (in Argentina)
It's hybrid since it's the 2 piece cover you place the phone in and the hard ring around.
Maybe time consuming to put it in if you want to remove it and put it in over and over.
One of the best cheapest covers out there.

Strange black line on camera

Hello,

I have recently purchased an S6 and am loving it so far how ever last night I noticed that a black line appears on the camera when shooting in low light against darker backgrounds. I have been a little worried about it and just can't seem to figure out what it is. The camera functions perfectly in normal light. This issue only occurs on the back camera, the front camera is fine.

You can see the line especially well when a filter is added. I can't attach pictures because im new but I can message them to you if you wish to see!

Does anyone know what is causing this and should I be concerned?

HELP - Black screen on XT1060 5.1

Ok, I dun goofed. Phone was working fine but I tried to add a line to build.prop and now the phone will show the boot logo but then goes black. I made a copy of the file first and tried putting the old one back with the TWRP file manager, but it's still doing the same thing.

I need help with this fast, my gf is going to kill me if I don't get he phone working again soon. :/

Can someone post a flashable zip of the 5.1 build.prop please. I'm just assuming this will fix it. I've tried extracting the system.img to get it but I obviously don't know what I'm doing.

Blisspop crash to black screen!

blisspop crashed to a black screen that I had to hold the power button and reboot the device to fix. This happened while restoring from my adb backup. any suggestions!

a smaller problem is double tap to wake keeps turning itself off.

G530h showing black screen after installing the stock lollipop update

Hey guys so I think I screwed up. I was updating to lollipop stock firmware for the galaxy grand prime (g530h/ds) using odin and I forgot to enable usb debugging before starting the process. It all went well and odin gave me a 'PASSED' message but now the phone doesnt show anything after the samsung boot screen (Which shows the name of the phone and "powered by android" beneath). Also, by 'the display not showing anything', I mean that the display doesnt entirely go black, there are faded vertical bars (initially the is screen dark with faint white edges on all sides) and i can see a very faint shadow of the Android logo and a 'Downloading' caption underneath it (sometimes, not always). Also, the screen fades in and out after a few seconds. Bricked or nah? I cant get into recovery but I can still get into Download mode.
This was the firmware I installed:
G530HXXU2BOH5_G530HSER2BOH5_SER (russian) from samfirmware
and then after all this happened, I retried with this firmware but the same thing happened:
G530HXXU2BOH7_G530HODD2BOH3_INS (indian)

then after digging around on google I realized that you have to install the firmware that matches your region (csc, baseband and all that stuff I did not even understand). Now how do i tell what is the basedband, csc or whatever of my phone so that I can download the proper firmware version? Or am i screwed here? (i know i'm not well versed in the technicalities of rooting and I realize it was my mistake to not properly do research before manually installing firmware, so it would be nice if i get a positive feedback)

Screen goes black when I play videos

When I play a video, it starts off as a black screen and won't wake up until I touch it. Then after a while, when the bar with the pause, fast forward, rewind etc buttons disappears, the screen goes black again. I can still hear the audio playing. This only happens with videos I have filmed on the device (either saved off snapchat or the in built camera app) and still occurs on other video playing apps. Is there any way to fix this?

Samsung galaxy S4 Black Edition Downgrade from Lollipop to Kitkat

My Phone Samsung Galaxy S4 Black edition(India INS) got automatically upgraded to 5.0.1 Lollipop from Kitkat 4.4.2.
Since the upgrade i feel there a performance issues in my phone.

2)I have also heard,the workaround for the null imei issue is to flash the modem.bin from lollipop firmware,then Baseband version will be still from Lollipop.Will this create signal problems in future?

Black screen after updating

Hello!
I have my Moto G 1st gen next to me and it's screen is completely black.
I've bricked my phone ( cannot mount /data ), so i tried few firmwares to stock it and get work.
When I made my phone working I went through start up like picking language, wi-fi etc. then checked for updates, because moto g was 4.4.2.
Phone found update to 4.4.4 and wanted to restart for update so i let him restart. It was updating, there was like 3/4 update when screen of my phone gone black.
I thought it's just screensaver so i left it like that, but when i wanted to unlock it or boot it up it was just black.
Just like now, but when i plug phone to PC using USB cable i hear that windows sound of plugging in.
I cannot boot up to bootloader and when i'm holding power button for like 15-30 second i can hear plugging out sound and after few seconds plugging in sound.
I was checking adb devices and fastboot devices, no devices for both.
And there's not boot screen, there's only black screen, i cannot see anything on screen.
I tried using flashlight into screen to check if it's not just that bug with brightness bar, that's not working.
Sorry for my english but I'm just a teenager not even from England or any english-speaking country.

Moto 360 2nd gen black metal watch strap extra links

Anyone have any black metal band links they don't need?
I got the watch day after release and was to small even when I added the extra link that came with it. I called moto and guess what they don't have any links in stock and got an email saying they don't know when they will have them, but said when they do they will send me another one.

Just inpatient and really would like to use the new band that I paid extra for. Using a plastic one from my gear 2 currently. So if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it.

[THEME] 5.+ Minimal black and white theme

Hello everyone!

Since Sony's Theme Creator has recently been updated and now allows quite a bit more, I have created another theme. I am neither a themer, nor a developer, just a guy clicking all the buttons in the tool randomly.

I will try to keep the theme updated (probably, maybe, somewhen) when new releases of the Theme Creator come out.

The theme is made for XXHDPI devices, yet, might or might not work on others as well.

P. S.: If you have some suggestions, you might try posting them below, I will consider all of those that are possible under the current version of Theme Creator, nothing more, nothing less. But I will stick to the black/white colours with the theme, no others will be added, the forums have many other great themes around here should you fancy another colour combination.

black screen

good morning
I am really very confused and I need help.
ٍsuddenly, i was charged my Samsung n-7000 to find it with a black screen that not responding.
I followed all steps here and there but no way.I used the odin to install a new flash rom but it does not respond.Just ive me fail message..
How I can fix it please.

Screen goes black as soon as call is made

Phone info: LG G3, model D852

ROM: fresh install of XenonHD, 09-28-15 build for the D852

ROM was installed fresh: wiped Dalvik, cache, system, data. Flashed ROM via TWRP, then TKGapps (09-27 release, 'stock' package), first boot took a while as expected, but went without issue. Installed a few 'normal' apps (no xposed or anything like that), and used Titanium backup to forcibly uninstall AdAway and Messenger.

PROBLEM:
Use the stock dialler to make a phone call to an existing contact. As soon as I hit the phone icon on the contact, the call initiates, and the screen goes black immediately. I can hear the call connecting, but it is extremely hard/impossible to turn the screen on: tapping the screen, clicking the power button, shaking the phone all fail to turn the screen on. If any of this does get the screen to turn on, it just flashes very briefly (showing the call in progress) and then goes black again. Once the call wraps up, the screen is immediately responsive once again.

Has anyone else have ever run into such a problem?! And of course, any suggestions on potential fixes or troubleshooting would be appreciated.

WiFi Bluetooth shaded black

I'm seeking help with my WiFi and Bluetooth shaded black. I know the are tons of threads on this issue. But I've been at this for about a year. I've come across many solutions. But the issue seem to keep resurfacing after every solution. I get at a point in which after using triangle away I can get it to shade grey and turn on for about 10-20 mins but after that it shades black not grey and refuses to work. This is slightly different then any other solution as this can be repeated and it keep working then it stops. I've spent countless hours and many frustrations at repeated partial solutions which leads to inevitable failure. I'm rooted and Knox is tripped. The solution has to fall into I would assume the bootloader were the Knox trigger is. As some on xda might see I'm a noob but have been with a very limited scope mainly my device kinda know what I'm talking about. I'm at a total loss. I've ventured in to my system with various tweaks to no avail and can't change my bootloader/modem due to what I assume is knox. I have no idea where to go from here. I wouldn't expect anyone on here to give me a solution to this problem though it would be nice. However a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows anything please respond. I couldn't tell you all the relevant information I've collected and things I know pertaining to this but ask if I've tried and I could tell you.

Samsung Galaxy S4 - Black Screen

Hi,
I've got a galaxy S4, but it has the black screen issue. I've tried doing the static clearing, charging it fully, discharging etc. So eventually I decided to buy a new LCD but that hasn't fixed the issue either. It responds to touch etc, just nothing is appearing.
Any suggestions?

Zombie pop black

Been working very good, restarted tablet and now all I get is the top bar and the back arrow at the bottom, rest of screen is black, how do I fix???

Black screen, but the phone vibrates and look like its starts

Hi suddenly my Note 3 (Omega) screen turned black, it vibrates when turning on. Evene if I try go to recovery or download mode it wibrates but screen is still black. When trying to turn on the blueled llights turns on

Even if I take out the pen it vibrates, no sound at all.
Will reflashing Baseband and bootloader help, or anyone else have a solution?

Real black back housing cover

hi guys, I cant understand if real black back cover really exists. Some vendors sells parts where they say the item is black, however you cant tell from photos if the color is real black or normal midnight blue.
Do they really exists? Or we have to manage with dbrand skins or similar to have a black n6?
