Galaxy S3 I9300 Problems

Hey guys,

I'm from India and I bought the AT&T version, unlocked I think. The build number on the device is JSS15J.I9300ZSENA1. It runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean and is the Pebble Blue version.

I'm using Reliance carrier on it and having frequent call drops, connectivity issues and texting problems as well. Then I get this security notice which asks me to boot the device repeatedly and I don't have any clue why that happens.

Now, my main problem is that I can't use the device for calling purposes as well texting.

So, how can I fix this? When I tried to update the firmware, I found the At&t text on it. That made me think that this might be the right place to post. Anyway, will changing the ROM to a Custom one like Cyanogen help to fix this issue? I need some help with this as I spent some decent bucks on it.

After Update 5.1.1 Problems with edge TimeOut and notifications

I got some problems with the Edge after updating to 5.1.1. (no root, Germany DBT). The Edge TimOut is only working correctly@ 30 & 15 secondes - 1/2/5min the Edge running always without the display disabled. I do a wipe cache (nothing changes) und yesterday i do a factory reset without any changes (Firmware-Bug?). Besides that i have some problems with notifications on the Edge (sometimes it works sometime not - i need to disable all and activate after this Edge shows notifications). Anyone here same problems with the Edge Time Out and notifications..??

i suspect it was caused by faulty battery since it cant provides stable voltage to the phone so causing screen flicker like symptoms. just my theory though

WiFi Problems

Anyone having problems with WiFi on stock ROM lately? Every so often the WiFi shuts off completely and can't be enabled again until restarting the watch. I have tried manually switching it back on in Settings but it remains stuck in Off mode. Factory reset it, cleared the Android Wear app and everything but it still gets this problem. It was perfectly fine for about a month or two after the WiFi update was pushed.

Problems with Android 5.1.1

I have noticed several problems since updating to the new 5.1.1 software. Firstly, has anybody noticed the different icons? All the stock apps are now using the Note 5 icons, but from researching this problem, other people don't seem to have this issue? Another problem is a lot of my messages aren't sending, I keep needing to restart my phone and try again, then they send.

Anybody else experiencing any of these?

Annoying camera and wifi problems with p8000

I got this phone a few days ago and it would be good if it didn’t have 3 annoying problems which are disconnects from wifi (plus it won't reconnect), camera won't open (it says the gallery has stopped working) and google now searches come up blank, the only way to fix these is to reboot the phone and I have to do this 3 times a day, is this a rom problem or a problem with the phone itself? I have the default rom which came rooted

Problems playing music stored on sdcard

Hi, is anyone else experiencing issues with playing music stored on their sdcard? The music plays for several minutes and then will just pause for no apparent reason. No sign that the card has been unmounted or anything like that, could it be a problem with the card itself perhaps although I've copied lots of music to and from it with no problems?

HELP! Droid X2 rooting problems

I am on a Mac and have searched left and right for the Droid3_Easy_Root_v7d file but everyone that references it is pointing to the SAME Mediafire link that is down. Does anyone have the Mac Version of this program? i've tried using a spare Windows PC to root but its not working. I had my Droid X2 on CM10 before but had put it in a drawer. When I decided to use it again, I figured it would have just been easier to do a complete system wipe and start over because all the apps were out of date, etc....but somehow, I ended up screwing CM10 up and had to SBF back to stock ROM. I went to 2.2 and used GingerBreak...but the only ROM I could manage to get installed was MIUI which was VERY glitchy (the first 3 times I installed it, it was typing on its own making it useless....once I got that fixed, I couldn't get Wifi to work.....I have the SBF files for 2.2, 2.3, 2.3.4 and 2.3.5....so whichever version will get back back to CM10 using a Mac would be great...not sure if there has been any developments on this phone as far as rooting it with apps like KingRoot, Poot, Towelroot, etc has been made, but hopefully someone can help me!

I'm running into a problem where any function defined in include/linux/cpufreq.h is causing implicit declaration warnings, which are treated as errors. I know I can use cc call-disable, but that is likely to cause errors later on. Notification panel problems after Android 5.1.1

Hello guys :) Does some one has this issue ??After updating my Note 4 to 5.1.1 whenever after unlocking my phone and pulling down the notification panel the phone will not respond for few seconds and then goes back to lock screen. Then I have to unlock it again and every time after 2nd unlock it works perfectly fine .Does anyone else have this issue? Any recommendations?

Lag problems

So I recently rooted my LS996 in an attempt to remove bloatware and try and improve performance but it seems like it's doing even worse now? Any ideas on how I can fix this? I can't even run Google Maps and Google Play Music at the same time without one or the other closing out. I can't seem to improve performance using any method. I'm running 5.1.1 zv8

Problems copying files to brand new Shield tablet (Rooted+ Custom Rom)

Hi there,

Just got this tablet not long ago, using brand new Sandisk Ultra 128GB Micro SD (Tried 2 different ones both brand new). Issues was on both stock rom, stock rom + Root and now Blissy Pop rom also. I tried both my laptop & desktop using different cables, I also tried different file systems to the SD card (NTFS/exFat/Fat32)

Basically problem is whenever I copy a large file (Like a 6-10gb mkv movie file) the copy progress will go on in windows and when it's due to finish or sometimes halfway through I will get an error message about the device being disconnected or unrecognized.

No idea whats causing it, I can copy files fine directly on the card with a USB reader, its when I try to plug the tablet with USB to my computers that the problem happens, and copying smaller files work fine.

Any ideas what's causing this I'm running out of ideas.

I've also been unable to succesfully copy files over from AirDroid to the microSD directly.

i have problems with my first custom rom and thats [ROM][AOGJ][5.1.1][07/09]SIXPERIENCE 7.0 i looks for me nice i have s6 things i really like. but i have 2 big problems in it. gps and bluetooth.

gps dont work on google maps and other programs! and bluetooth says stopped evry time i want connect.

and i cant see nothing that there is a bug on this custom rom! please help what to do.

Bootloop and other problems

Hello everyone,

I got a little problem with my Nexus 4 and that is that I can not boot my system anymore. An Android 4.4.4 factory image is already on my internal SD card but every time I try to install it TWRP says that it failed because it was unable to mount/usb-otg. Does anyone know how to fix that? Already tried with Wug's NRT but when I use the '' Flash stock + Unroot " option my device also ends in a bootloop.

Help would be appreciated!

XT1093 Won't Get Signal, Preferred Network Type Problems

Ok so this is a pain.

I did a full factory reset, then flashed this rom, thinking it should work perfectly, since 5.1 uses the same modem for all phones. My problem is, the "Preferred Network Type" in the *#*#4636#*#* menu on US Cellular (hence the XT1093) should be "LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)" but is instead set to "LTE/GSM auto (PRL)". Every time I try to change it, my phone gets a roaming symbol, with no bars, and an activation screen pops up for a fraction of a second, then goes back to the no signal symbol. When I go back to check the Preferred Network Type, it has changed back to "LTE/GSM auto (PRL)" again. I believe if this can be fixed, my phone will work.

I have seen threads that say to edit your build.prop file and add a line- like THIS, but it doesn't work.

I'm really in a bind. According to the mods at teamuscellular.com, I can't go back to stock because we don't have a stagefright patch build yet, and downgrading might brick my phone, and it feels like just some quirk I need to get fixed to have this software running. Thanks in advance!
