Windows RT 8.1 - Jailbreak Sign Tool

Hello Everyone,

I've written a small tool that allows you to sign a single file or a complete folder. See attachments. It is quick and dirty. If someone wants to improve it, there is the source attached also.

Please note that this tool will sign every exe and dll files in all sub folders if you select "Sign folder"!

Best of all: It also runs on Windows RT directly :)

Have fun!

Question about a Elephone s2 plus GTP adb tool.

Hello Xda and all orthers.

I've got a rpoblem/question which Elephone is refusing to answer for couple of weeks,
I've upgraded my TP firmware in this phone however the touchscreen doesnt seems to be work ok such like the touchscreen was rotated 180 somehow but he screen was on the place,
Example when you pull the notification bar down for normal you need to pull it of the edge of the screen right ?
but now after the firmware upgrade i need to pull it from the middle of the screen inorder to pull the notification bar down.
So i asked Elephone the stock/orginal TP firmware after few days i did get the file but when i want to flash the tool is telling me that i already have the newest TP firmware already installed ? So my question is how do i remove the old TP firmware inorder to flash the stock TP firmware ?
I've took also a video from the problem there seems to be not a problem whit the screen/touch self.
i already format+flash the rom no succes same problem

The TP firmware topic : http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-8024-1...l#.ViYU_X7hDcc
Video of the problem : https://youtu.be/TEdx2ma9-Vg

I hope we/i can fix this problem so i can resume to use the phone again,
Thanks and have a nice day.

phone won't turn on after using sp flash tool

Hey there,

i used the sp flash tool. After playing back the boot.img and recovery.img successfully (green circle) i have no chance to turn on my phone again. There is really NO reaction. Sp flash tool still recognizes the phone and it is also recognized under "lsusb" as
Bus 002 Device 035: ID 0e8d:0003 MediaTek Inc. MT6227 phone

I have a CAT B15.

Do you have any suggestions?

Cheers,

_BKF_NV_W Failed (Using Upgrade Download tool)

Hi/Hello Sir/Maam

I am a owner of a Cherry mobile Flare S3 mini, which has a Spreadtrum Chipset (Sc8830). My problem is that I accidentally flash a rom that causes it to be deadboot. I look on ways on how to revive it and I find this "Upgrade Download Tool' which is a flash tool for spreadtrum devices. But I can flash my stock rom which is in .pac format through this Upgrade Download Tool because I always get this error "_BKF_NV_W", I dont know what that means and I really need somehelp. Can somebody here help me with this error? I would appreciate any help that will come to you with regards to this. Thanks and I hope that you can help me.

Upgraded from 4.2.2 to 5.0.1 via LG Mobile support tool, sudden loss of storage space

Hello, i decided today i wanted to go from 4.2.2 to 5.0.1 on my D802 LG G2. Phone running stock with root but read up on it and people (xda for example) said the only thing that would happen was a loss of root, which didn't bother me that much. Fast forward to update completed and now the majority of my memory space on my 32GB LG G2 is gone. Going in to Settings > Storage it shows "Total space 32GB", and "Available 6.69GB". Looking further into it, going in to "Misc", there "System Data" taking up 21.86GB, which seems way more than it would have too.

I upgraded via the LG Mobile Support Tool from here: http://www.lg.com/uk/support-mobile/lg-D802 and everything is working, expect the storage space issue.

Connecting the phone to my computer it says internal storage is 10.6GB, which leads me to believe somehow i've gotten the 16GB firmware, question is how since i upgraded via the LG Tool? The only weird thing is that the phone says in settings that total storage is 32GB.

So what is there to do now?

LG Flash tool doesn't detect model.

As you read. After a whole day of searching non-stop from day 'til night, I finally give up and ask for help.
I've tried to flash a Lollipop ROM, which resulted in my LG G2 D800 having a soft brick.
I already had this issue once, so I knew what I had to do. I used a Kitkat 20c TOT package to return to Stock Kitkat. However, I kept recieving an error;

Device Model Unknown, Check Model or DLL. Or something similar. Upon my first search, I found out about the custom DLL.

So I tried it. But I get another error; CrossDL [Unknown] to [D800]. I tried 3 different DLL files, modified the TOT file (Hex Editor paste write)

I also ended up flashing some img files I don't remember which post it was exactly, but it was from here.

My device no longer boots up, it gives me, however, the option to either reboot or go directly to download mode once I power it on.

Please note; before and after the img flashing. I kept having the same issue.

So in short, I have no idea of how to flash the tot file because it keeps giving me a Device Model error. It there truly a way for the LG FLash tool (1.8.1 I think) to simply ignore what model it is before flashing?

Also, I tried this on another computer, but no luck, same result. I'm doing this on my PC with a Virtual Machine (I run Linux Mint as a Main OS) so I'm truly unsure if it's that, though the first time I did it when I first had the issue, it worked just fine...

Any ideas, suggetions?

TWOCLICK tool (a stand-alone SIM-unlock tool based on summer.cat's ONECLICK tool)

Hi,
I hope this helps someone, this is the content of the readme.txt file that I have included in the attached file.

LG G2 TWOCLICK tool
===================
This tool is based on summer.cat's ONECLICK tool, most credits go to him!
I didn't like the idea of not understanding what ONECLICK tool's .exe was doing with my phone, and I disliked not being able to restore my phone back to normal CDMA operation.
Most of the time I use the phone in the US with Freedompop, but I also wanted to:
- be able to use my T-Mobile GSM SIM as a backup
- being able to use an European SIM when I visit my family in Spain. Plus, I want to be able to change the SIM right when I arrive to the airport without using a computer!
I was able to find ONECLICK tool's original .bat file (the .bat is stored in \AppData\Local\Temp while running the original simfree.exe, it creates a temporal folder). Using his method as the starting point, I have prepared two shell scripts, one to "unlock" and another one to " restore". The "unlock" script does a backup of the original phone files under "TWOCLICKtool/restore_files". The "restore" script restores the phone using those backup files.

REQUIREMENTS
============
An LG G2 on ZVG (I haven't tried anything else) and rooted

INSTALLATION
============
Using root explorer, copy the TWOCLICKtool folder under "/data"

TO UNLOCK
=========
- Using root explorer, go to the /data/TWOCLICKtool folder and click/execute the simunlock.sh script
- After the phone reboots, change settings->More...->Mobile networks->Network mode to GSM/UMTS. Also, if you are in Freedompop as I am, use Titanium to freeze the Freedompop Messaging app.
- Turn off, replace SIM card (to your GSM card) and start the phone.

TO RESTORE
==========
- Using root explorer, go to the /data/TWOCLICKtool folder and click/execute the simrestore.sh script
- After the phone reboots, change settings->More...->Mobile networks->Network mode back to Global (or LTE/CDMA). Also, if you are on Freedompop as I am, use Titanium to defreeze the Freedompop Messaging app.
- Turn off, replace SIM card (to your sprint LTE card) and start the phone.

Q: Hi, i just bought a phone what should i do now?
Well, you firstly need to unlock your bootloader...

Q: What is logcat?
Well, you can pretty much use google for that answer, but to put it short, is that thingy that tells you what is happening behind the scenes of your phone.
It is usually used for debugging and entertaiment(?).
When you report an error/bug to somebody, it will be a blessing to provide a logcat (logfile)!

Q: What is a Custom Recovery and why do i need one?
A custom recovery is that thingy that let's you flash .zip files, use your logic and you wil get it why you need one.

Q:There are others guides/tutorials out there, should i check them instead of this?
If you manage to get things done using this one, no, otherwise yes, note that some could be outdated...

Q:What is sideload and how do I use it?
Sideload is a function from adb that let's you flash a zip file while in recovery directly from your PC.

[APP][K9-Mail] Web tool to transfer all your Thunderbird e-mail accounts to K9-Mail

Hi Everyone!

Here's a little web app I created to make my life (and hopefully yours!) simpler:
URL: transfer.zone

I found myself having about 10 different IMAP accounts set-up in Thunderbird. I wanted all of them on my phone without typing them in manually.
So I wrote a script to extract the IMAP settings from Thunderbird (passwords aren't stored here, don't worry) and save them in a format that can be imported by K9-Mail.

If there's demand for more format types, then the project can grow into something even more useful :)

All feedback welcome!
Thanks.
