I have "OK Google" set to always on on my Nexus 6. However when you are saying "OK Google" to your watch, it turns my phone on. Can you disable "always on" while your watch is connected?
Hey all. Earlier today I dropped my phone and the screen cracked. The screen is unresponsive, but the phone still works (the device is recognised by my laptop when I plug it with the USB cable, I am still receiving email/facebook/texts notifications, etc.).
Since it's going to be a while until I get it repaired, I'm looking for a way to access or import to my laptop the notes I had on Google Keep, as I need them for my work.
Is there any way I can access those notes using my laptop?
Hey guys! I want to present simple game Image Quiz. It is a social game, where one player thinks up a query to Google Image Search and sends a link to it to their friends, who try to guess on the received images.
Arrange a match in the family or friends, create your own themed quizzes on any subject. All the power of Google Image Search at your disposal, the number of quizzes is limited only by your imagination.
PERFECT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY ★ Create educational quizzes for children, for example 'Fauna', 'Waterworld', 'Сapitals', 'Space and planet', etc. ★ Help your kids learn spelling words, introduce them to the diversity of the surrounding world ★ Take quizzes and polls for their moms, dads, grandparents, check their knowledge ★ Spend time exciting and usefully
Try your hand. It's quick, easy and fun! Also available on Google Play (Sorry, I still can't add external link, //play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.profi1c.imagequiz)
I am on android MRA58K and my google play store stopped working for most of the applications including google apps when I am on wifi (works on cellular ). I have remed and added my google account. Did not work. Then factory reset the device and no use. And now I can not update most of the application. Cleared cache for google services and play store app as well with no success. Some people suggested changing the DNS to google DNS on the router might work. IN my case that did not work. Help is appreciated. Note: I am on unmodified stock.
Searched around and found that the app has some issues with apn's, and that it's a Google issue but could not find a an apn workaround.
It was fine and month ago, had sent some images to wife's note 4 that I had downloaded from Google images, still having the same images in the gallery I tried resending image, but now it fails to send,WiFi or regular data.
I have just noticed that CM 12.1 nightlies are including the Google Play Services and Google Play Store stuff by default. I was willing to install a google-free ROM and CM was my choice. Now that cannot be any more. 1. Wasn't that forbidden by Google itself? 2. How can I remove that, as I really really need a google-free installation? 3. I think I have missed some important announcement, any link?
It sounds crazy, but right after I installed M from factory image my Google Contacts have become so blurry that it's ridiculous. Most of these are what I had uploaded while ago, and they were fine on 5.1.1 but right after I moved to M, all of them are no fuzzy...
If your Fire Tablet is running Fire OS 5 and you want to have the actual Google Play Store to get your Games or Apps paid & Free without limitation, this is final fix we been wait for :D

Until two days back, my google now was working perfectly fine with the cards refreshing on their own based on my location and the time of the day. I did not make any changes whatsoever, but now the cards are not updating. For eg, right now it is showing me cards from 4 days back. Earlier(before google launcher was updated), we could pull down to refresh and it showed the new cards. Now we cannot even manually do it. I have to turn off google now by going into the google settings app, turn on again then they come just for that day and again it doesnt update. I am connected to wifi most of the time.
Any help for the same would be highly appreciated as I rely a lot on Google now.
I'm trying to find a way to view the available tabs of my google chrome which i used to press the menu button on the bottom left hand corner but now when i press it shows all the instances of the previous apps which is not what i'm finding. Please suggest a solution to me. Thanks :)
I saw on a YouTube video of a guy getting google now card Notifications on his watch. Now I can't find the video and was wondering if anyone knew how to enable this feature. Thanks!
first you'll need the ota.zip of the build you made of marshmallow in /sdcard you'll also want to download this gapps: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347835438 Im not sure if other gapps will work, but this is the one that worked for me.
flash your stock aosp ota marshmallow .zip through your recovery (twrp or cwm) then flash the gapps
reboot your phone...
soon you'll reach the setup screen. You're going to start seeing the Google Play Services errors flash on the screen but disappear. That's ok. Get through the setup wizard and you'll see your new google homescreen. Except if you run anything Google you'll get the Google Play services errors. So lets fix that.
Go to settings -> apps Click on the three dots on top right and show system. Taps on Google play services Tap on permissions And turn everything on
Now go and download the google apps your want and the google play services error won't pop up anymore. All this has to do with how Google changed the permissions in the apps. Im sure someone better than me will find a better way to fix this and this is just a temp fix.

After the google app got updated the behaviour of the swipe-to-search gesture apparently changed. Before the update you just swiped up from the homebutton on the homescreen and the cursor was placed in the google search bar. The keyboard appeared and you were immediately able to start typing. Now after the update a new blank windows is opening when you swipe up that looks a little like google now. It showes the google search bar in the middle of the screen and you have to click it to place the cursor in the search bar that moves up to the screen after you clicked it. And then you're finally able to type. Does anyone know a way to change that behaviour back to how it once was and is there a way to let the google developers know, that it sucks the way it is? And is anybody sharing my anger about that stupid change of a perfectly working app?
